Inner Alchemy Yoga Retreat – Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking your place on the Inner Alchemy Yoga Retreat in Morocco. By submitting your deposit, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Payment

Your place on the retreat is secured upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total retreat cost.

The remaining balance is payable in two stages:

20% due 4 months before the retreat start date

Final 50% due 2 months before the retreat start date

Payments can be made via bank transfer or Revolut.

A monthly instalment plan is available to spread payments evenly from the time of booking until the final balance due date.

Tailored payment plans are available on request; please contact Carla at Cosmic Retreats to arrange.

Optional extras (such as massages or excursions) must be pre-booked where possible and are payable separately unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be made in writing to Cosmic Retreats.

More than 4 months (120+ days) before the retreat start date: Full refund minus a £50 administrative fee.

Between 4 months and 60 days before the retreat start date: 50% refund of your deposit.

60 days or less before the retreat start date: No refund will be issued.

If a replacement guest is found for cancellations made 60 days or less before the retreat, your payment will be refunded minus a £50 administrative fee.

3. Retreat Changes

Minor Changes

We reserve the right to make minor changes to the retreat programme where necessary. This may include adjustments to the schedule, class times, excursions, facilitators, teachers, accommodation arrangements within the same venue, or the order of activities. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund.

If a teacher or facilitator is unable to attend, we reserve the right to provide a suitably qualified replacement.

Significant Changes

A significant change is defined as a material alteration to the retreat location, duration, or core offering.

If a significant change occurs before the retreat start date, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and offer one of the following options:

Accept the revised arrangements

Transfer your booking to a future retreat (subject to availability)

Receive a full refund of all monies paid

If the retreat venue becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to relocate to a comparable venue of similar standardwithin Morocco. If you do not wish to accept the alternative venue, a full refund will be offered.

4. Cancellation by Cosmic Retreats (Minimum Numbers)

We reserve the right to cancel the retreat up to 2 months before the retreat start date if minimum participant numbers are not met or for operational reasons.

In this event, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid. Cosmic Retreats is not liable for any additional costs incurred, including flights, accommodation, insurance, visas, or other travel-related expenses.

5. Travel Responsibility

Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat.

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided for:

Missed flights

Travel delays

Personal emergencies

Illness preventing travel

Failure to obtain appropriate documentation

If the retreat proceeds as scheduled, government travel advisories or personal decisions not to travel do not entitle you to a refund.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, travel disruption, medical expenses, and personal liability.

6. Participation, Health & Liability

All yoga, movement, and wellness sessions are optional. By participating, you confirm that you are physically and medically fit to take part.

You agree to:

Take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing

Inform us in advance of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or special requirements

Participate at your own risk

Cosmic Retreats and its facilitators shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or theft occurring during the retreat, except where caused by proven negligence.

7. Age Requirement

Participants must be 18 years or older.

Participants aged 16–17 may attend upon prior written request and approval. Additional consent documentation may be required.

8. Booking Transfers

You may transfer your booking to another person by notifying us at least 14 days before the retreat start date.

For shared accommodation, the replacement guest must be of the same gender and approved by Carla.

All transfers are subject to a £50 administrative fee.

9. Force Majeure

In the event that the retreat is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (including natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics), you will be offered either:

A full refund, or

The option to transfer your booking to a future retreat (subject to availability)

Cosmic Retreats is not liable for additional costs incurred, including flights, accommodation, insurance, or personal expenses.

10. Accommodation & Early Arrival

If you choose to arrive prior to the official retreat start date, additional nights can be arranged at the same riad, subject to availability. These nights are not included in the retreat price and will be charged separately.

11. Participation & Wellbeing

All sessions are optional. Guests are encouraged to listen to their bodies and rest when needed.

Inform us in advance of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or special requirements.

Participants must respect the calm, mindful, and drug-free nature of the retreat. Alcohol is not served in the riad; it is available in the desert.

12. Behaviour & Group Harmony

We are committed to creating a warm, respectful, and inclusive retreat environment.

Cosmic Retreats reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat, without refund, if their behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to the wellbeing of the group.

13. Photos & Privacy

Photographs may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us on arrival. Your wishes will be fully respected.
