The Riad

We have chosen the most divine Riad to spend our time. A calm and welcoming space tucked away in the lively Medina. With its traditional Moroccan architecture, peaceful courtyards, and rooftop views over the city, it offers the perfect balance between retreat and exploration.

The riad features a mix of single and shared rooms, each designed with care and comfort in mind. Expect handcrafted touches, soft textiles, and a relaxed feel throughout. Whether you’re travelling solo or with a friend, there’s a space to suit your needs.

Our camp is situated in the stone desert of Agafay, a serene and soulful escape surrounded by vast, open landscapes.

The luxury desert yurts blend comfort with simplicity. Each one comes with a private terrace and ensuite bathroom, offering a quiet space to unwind and reflect. Shared and single occupancy options are available, depending on your preference.

The heart of the camp is its desert yoga shala — an where we gather for breathwork, movement, and cacao under the shifting skies. From sunrise practices to starlit ceremonies, this is where the alchemy unfolds.

When you're not on the mat, take a dip in the pool, sink into the jacuzzi, or simply enjoy the silence and light of the desert. Meals are served on the terrace with views that stretch to the Atlas Mountains — nourishing, grounding, and made with care.

The Food

Our retreat cuisine is as much a part of the journey as the yoga, the breathwork, and the stillness. Prepared with intention and care, each dish celebrates Morocco’s rich culinary heritage—infused with a unique blend of spices, flavours, and nourishing ingredients.

You’ll enjoy healthy and delicious vegetarian meals, lovingly crafted with passion and attention to detail. While all meals are plant-based, we can accommodate most dietary requirements upon request, including vegan and gluten-free.

  • Breakfast

Breakfasts are a feast for the senses:
    – Moroccan yogurt with house-made granola, local honey, and seasonal fruit
    – A variety of traditional Moroccan breads served with Amlou, Atlas Mountain honey, seasonal jam, and cream cheese
    – Daily egg dishes and sweet treats such as homemade cake or waffles
    – Freshly squeezed orange juice, aromatic mint tea, and rich Moroccan coffee

  • Dinner

Dinners are three-course, plant-powered experiences designed to ground, replenish, and delight. Expect warming tagines, vibrant salads, and a touch of sweetness to close the day.

Both breakfast and dinner are included daily at the riad and the desert camp. Lunch is optional and available on request.

The Yoga

The yoga will be a blend of mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle flow to create a deeply nourishing practice suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis.

The emphasis is on presence over perfection, inviting each student to listen to their body, honour their limits, and explore movement with curiosity and compassion. The sessions will weave together dynamic sequences, restorative poses, and guided meditation to support both physical well-being and inner calm.

Through the retreat, we’ll offer a variety of sessions including flow, Yin, breathwork, and Yoga Nidra — all designed to awaken your body’s natural energy and deepen your connection to self.

Whether you seek strength, flexibility, relaxation, or emotional balance, Carla’s yoga invites you to journey inward and cultivate a lasting sense of peace and resilience.

The Spaces

  • The Terrace

High above the city, this rooftop haven offers panoramic views and a soulful space for practice. The Terrace is especially magical at sunrise and sunset, where the call to prayer mingles with birdsong and golden light.

  • The Studio

The indoor yoga studio is a calming cocoon away from the bustle of the Medina. With handcrafted Moroccan tiles beneath your feet, soft natural light, and a sense of stillness that invites presence, it’s the perfect setting for deep dives into breathwork, yoga nidra, and gentle movement.

  • The Desert

There’s a different kind of stillness in the desert—a silence that speaks. The Desert Camp is nestled within this vast, lunar-like landscape, where golden light stretches for miles and the stars feel close enough to touch. Practising here is both grounding and expansive, a return to the source.

On one of the days, you can choose to participate in a Sacred Cacao Ceremony, where Leah will guide you on a journey to connect with Mother Cacao.

Sacred Cacao Ceremony is a heart-opening, meditative experience that uses ceremonial-grade cacao to facilitate deep connection, reflection, and healing. Rooted in ancient Mayan and Aztec traditions, cacao has long been considered a sacred plant medicine, revered for its ability to enhance emotional well-being, creativity, and spiritual awareness.
